The 2012 London Games came to a close Sunday! Take a look back at the brilliant and wildly successful London 2012 Olympics
A heartstopping array of colours zigzag through the night sky above the Olympic Park as fireworks conclude the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Spice up the stage: The Spice Girls reformed to perform a spectacular set on the top of black London taxis at the closing ceremony.

Indie icon: Liam Gallagher and his band Beady eye followed The Spice Girls with a performance of Oasis number one hit Wonderwall.

John Lennon, a face appears on the big screen as a choir of 100 people from Liverpool, where Lennon was born, sing Imagine. The choir includes members of the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir and Liverpool Signing choir.

Kate Moss
Wearing Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Kate Moss did her thing as part of the Olympics closing ceremony and we lapped up every second.

Russell Brand
One of the more weird but strangely wonderful sections of the closing ceremony featured Russell Brand channelling Willy Wonka and performing The Beatles hit, I am The Walrus. It had to be seen to be believed!

Tinie Tempah, Taio Cruz and Jessie J
Tinie Tempah, Taio Cruz and Jessie J really got the party as they performed Price Tag, Written In The Stars, Dynamite and the Bee Gees hit We Should Be Dancing.

One Direction
We must admit that we squealed like little girls when One Direction emerged on top of a lorry to perform What Makes You Beautiful. So handsome!

Brian May and Jessie J
Jessie J returned to the stage – which took the form of the Union Jack – to join Brian May for a rip-roaring, guitar solo-filled, performance of We Will Rock You.

Annie Lennox
The ultra-talented Annie Lennox gave a gothic performance as she sailed into the stadium aboard something resembling the Black Pearl!

Eric Idle
Eric Idle lifted the roof off when belted out the classic and quintessentially British song Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life. Hilairious!

Take That
A very brave Gary Barlow joined the rest of Take That – despite his recent heartbreak at having his baby daughter Poppy delivered stillborn only a week ago – at the end of the dazzling show.

Emeli Sande
Emeli Sande appeared twice during the show, wearing Prada and Alexander McQueen, and showed off her beautiful voice to the world.

Let’s looking forward to 2016 Rio Olympic Games! Thanks for all your attention! Persun.co.uk online sale welcome you!
